MENSA

Mensa is the oldest society for people with a high IQ (Intelligence quotient). They used 'Mensa' from Latin for ‘table’ to symbolise that the group was like a round table where no one had precedence..

One of the objectives of the society is to
  • identify and foster human intelligence for the benefit of humanity.

Mensa is non-political and free from racial or religious distinctions. To join the club involves passing IQ tests and achieving an accepted score on the Culture Fair test of at least 132, or 148 on the Cattell test.

Worldwide

Mensa International has around 130,000 members in 100 countries.
